CropUSA offers a wide array of product choices
to our Alliance members to assist them to grow their agency revenue. We offer
the standard MPCI product lines and several types of crop-hail policies
to fit the needs of your client.
As an added benefit, our Alliance members and
contracted agencies can access coverage that is not crop insurance related. Through
our network of partner insurance companies, we can assist our alliance members in providing
P&C coverage for their customers.
Our exclusive products, Farmers Choice, our annuity
suite, and life insurance products, are also available. These products add additional
revenue while solidifying your customer relationships and account retention.

MPCI
CropUSA provides the following crop
insurance coverages.
- Combo Plan - Common Crop Insurance Policy. Beginning
with the 2011 crop year, the RMA introduced a Common Crop Insurance Policy,
known as the Combo plan. Yield Protection or Revenue Protection are now
available for crops traded on the commodities market.
- YP - Yield Protection. Protects against
production loss due to naturally occurring events and is available for crops
traded on commodity exchanges only.
- RP - Revenue Protection. Provides protection
against loss of revenue due to a production loss price decline or increase, or
combination of both.
- RPHPE - Revenue Protection with Harvest Price
Exclusion. Same as Revenue Protection except the amount of insurance is
only based on the projected price.
- APH Crop Insurance. APH protection protects
against weather-related causes of loss and other unavoidable perils.
- GRIP - Group Risk Income Protection. Protects
against losses in revenue due to low price or in-county yields (not individual farm
yields) due to insured causes, unexpected price declines, or both.
- GRP - Group Risk Protection. Protection against
widespread yield disaster, but does not provide protection from events on the
farm.
- PRF - Pasture, Rangeland, Forage. Utilizes
various indexing systems to determine crop condition.

Farmers Choice
Years ago, a critical illness diagnosis
could have easily proven fatal. However, today the odds of surviving
such a diagnosis are better than ever.
Most health plans currently
available are PPO plans where the insured must obtain medical care
through a network of approved providers. If the insured receives
medical care outside of this approved provider network, most insurance
companies reduce their benefit payments 20% to 40%.
CropUSA provides access for our
Alliance members to Farmer's Choice, a health plan that will allow your clients to
seek medical care from the provider of their choice, regardless of the
provider’s status within a PPO network. The policy will supplement
your client’s current health plan and will cover the costs outside his
network.
